Gregory Brooks: A Life of Service and Dedication
Gregory Brooks, a native of South Carolina, grew up in a small town near Walterboro. He graduated from Walterboro High School and subsequently enlisted in the United States Army. After a distinguished military career, Gregory transitioned to the Federal Government, where he retired as a Regional Information Technology Manager. Throughout his tenure in both the military and federal service, he received numerous achievement awards in recognition of his dedication and excellence.
Currently residing in Jonesboro, Georgia, Gregory is a devoted husband to his wife, Annette. They are proud parents of three adult children—two sons and one daughter—and doting grandparents to three granddaughters and one grandson.
With over 34 years of ministry experience, Gregory is an ordained and licensed minister with Logos Global Network and a Master Biblical Counselor. His expertise encompasses Coaching Today’s Children and Adolescents, Parenting and Child Discipline, Marriage and Family: Building a Solid Foundation, and Love and Relationships. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theology and Pastoral Care and is presently pursuing a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling and Chaplaincy at Aidan University.
Gregory’s commitment to service extends beyond his ministry. He has contributed his skills and compassion in various capacities, including roles in the United States Army, Federal Government, prison and jail ministry, pastoral leadership, and as the Director of Men’s Ministry. His life’s work reflects a profound dedication to supporting and uplifting those around him.
Annette Brooks, Founder and President of God Marriage and Family Ministries Inc.
Annette Brooks (née Williams) hails from Waynesboro, GA, and is a graduate of Dublin High School. She spent ten years of her childhood in foster care, an experience that shaped her desire to serve her country. Following high school, she enlisted in the United States Army as a Telecommunications Specialist. During her eight years of service, she earned a Top Security Clearance, reflecting her expertise and integrity.
Currently residing in Jonesboro, GA, Annette is a devoted wife to her husband, Gregory, and a loving mother to three adult children—two sons and one daughter. She is also a proud grandmother to three granddaughters and one grandson.
Annette founded God Marriage and Family Ministries Inc., inspired by her personal experiences and the belief that God must be the foundation of any successful marriage and family. Drawing from Psalm 127:1, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it,” Annette emphasizes the importance of faith in family life. With 39 years of marriage and many challenges faced, she is passionate about helping others restore their marriages and families through faith.
With 34 years of ministry experience, Annette is an ordained and licensed minister with Logos Global Network and a certified Chaplain with the American Chaplain Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling and Chaplaincy and has two Advanced Diplomas in Biblical Christian Counseling from Light University. Additionally, she has pursued extensive studies in various areas, including marriage work, trauma care, mental health, and cultural competency.
God Marriage and Family Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to counseling, teaching, mentoring, and conducting workshops for churches and communities. The organization aims to create thriving, healthy marriages and families.
Annette’s service extends beyond her ministry. She has worked in various settings, including the United States Army, assisted living facilities, hospitals, senior citizen communities, group homes, daycare centers, women’s shelters, and outreach ministries. She also leads her personal ministry, “Broken to Wholeness: Daughters of the King Ministry.”
